Mobile Phone Images

With the quality of cameras on mobile phones now rivalling many compact cameras and even some DSLR cameras, this collection of images shows some of my favourite mobile phone captures. Some of the images, notably, Hedge Bindweed, Cooped-Up, Sod-It! and Vape! managed to 'hold-their-own' against photographs shot using professional, full-frame cameras.

It has often been said, the best camera is the one you have with you!

The image 'Cooped-Up' was captured using an iPhone 7 at a garden centre in Melbourne, near Derby. It was placed first in 2018's Mobile Phone Photography Competition at Solihull Photographic Society. That's one mean-looking chicken!
